Graduate Advisor (Design), Department of Internal Affairs (DIA)

Working within the Business Design and Innovation team to deliver change initiatives, including those part of Result 10 of the government wide Better Public Services. This initiative, led by DIA, will mean that 70% of New Zealanders transactions with government will be digital by mid-2017. My role is to provide Service Design and UX Design support and advice on various projects.

Graduate Advisor (Design) - Casual, Department of Internal Affairs (DIA)

Part of the 11 strong Business Design and Innovation team, we are an internal service design consultancy. Working with other teams within the department, and inter-agency, we influence key stakeholders with user-centric design, conduct customer research, run user-testing sessions, workshops, create visual reports, and manage key stakeholder relationships.



Junior Designer, Open Lab NZ

At Open Lab I was involved in – and heading up – branding projects, experience design workshops, graphic design, and typographic projects. Worked part time as a student between 2014-15, and employed full time for the first half of 2016, still working with them occasionally on a casual basis, mainly in facilitation of experience design workshops.

Committee Member, Designers Institute of New Zealand Student Council

Working as a Massey University rep alongside Cathy Veninga and
eleven other talented design students from around the country, we collaboratively developed the strategy and design as to how the Student Council would work, ready to be started in 2016.


Team Leader, Radio New Zealand Workshop with OpenLab NZ 

Myself and three other designers; Hannah McGeorge, Pelepesite Tofilau, and Sam Bazalo, formed a multi-disciplinary team. We used experience design methods to investigate how to engage younger audiences in Radio New Zealand content.

Undertook event design, planning, and execution. My main role was to create and maintain a positive relationship with our sponsors in order to maintain our funding and venues.
